Patricia Mathes Lake is a freelance photographer based in Bethesda, Maryland. She specializes in high quality wedding photos, black and white environmental children's portraits, and photographing social events.

Besides many happy couples and families in the area, she also works with Suburban Hospital, Sugarplum Tents, Eureka Tents, the Democratic Leadership Council, Allentuck Landscaping, Sobrino and Associates Architects, Bralove Hollman Special Events and Big Village Band.

Her photos have graced many publications. Patricia has studied with Bambi Cantrell, author of "The Art of Wedding Photography," and has worked with Michael Kress Photography. She studied photojournalism at the Corcoran School of Art and currently teaches at Photoworks in Glen Echo, Maryland.
